Incident of group of Shivsena lawmakes alledgely forcing a Muslim man,catering supervisor eat chapati while fasting for Ramzan at guest house in Delhi.
However, Shiv Sena denies force-feeding incident sayiing that “We didn’t force anyone to break his roza. These are baseless allegations. We were just protesting against poor services and bad quality food, that’s all,” said Shrikant Shinde, who was among the group of MPs involved in the incident.
Yesterday, the incident happened at Maharashtra Sadan, where all states have guest houses in Delhi for their representatives and official visitors. Food at Maharashtra Sadan was provided by a subsidiary of the Indian Railways, which has cut off meals in protest. It has also received a note of apology from Bipin Mallik, Resident Commissioner of Maharashtra at Delhi, who has administrative control of the Sadan.
As per sources, at Maharashtra Sadan say a clock was broken in his office by the Sena’s members in a typically audacious rampage.
Sena lawmakers have complained regularly about poor services at the guest house.Sena has been condemned by different parties and demanded an apology.
