Shiv Sena is BJP and NDA ally, with criticism on Ved Pratap Vaidik Journalist meeting Hafiz Saeed, 26/11 mastermind in Pakistan has mounted pressure on NDA led Narendra Modi government. Sena feels that ruling government cannot neglect the issue of Vaidik meeting Hafiz. BJP’s distancing from Vaidik does not suffice. Sena through its renowned media ‘Samana’s editorial’ has commented, if this would have during Congress rule and some Indian journalist would have met Hafiz or Dawood, BJP would not have spared them
Sena however appreciated good begining of Modi government. It should not face problem because of misadventure of an individual. Also External Affairs Minister condemning the meeting in Parliament is a right thing done. Even the policy of Pakistan government denying Visa to ordinary Indian citizens, showing generacity to Vaidik in granting Visa is again a matter of sheer surprise.
