Toady, Shazia Ilmi, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader will join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) . Shazia meets BJP president Amit Shah this afternoon, confirming reports that she is beginning a new chapter in her political career.
BJP leader Ashwani Upaadhyay confirmed that Shazia will join the party at 3 pm today. “We welcome her,” Upaadhyay said.
Recently, former Team Anna member Kiran Bedi joined the BJP in the presence of Amit Shah. Bedi is tipped to be the party’s CM candidate for Delhi polls; however, a formal confirmation is yet to come.
