Shankersinh Vaghela urged PM Modi to call then 562 Prince of Gujarat at launch of Statue of Unity

Today former Gujarat chief minister and congress leader Shankersinh Vaghela wrote a letter to Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi  over launching of Statue of Unity.

On 31st October, PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to launch 182 meter high Statue of Unity in memory and contribution of Sardar Patel .

Vaghela raised a demand to call then 562 Prince of Gujarat who were unified by Sardar patel  after India  getting Freedom. He also urged PM to honor all the prince by inviting them to Delhi.

Gujarat government’s notification on Compulsory Voting Act likely by next week

Today morning cabinet meeting was held,  Gujarat government has decided to implement the controversial Compulsory Voting Act for upcoming municipal corporation elections likely to be held by October this year. As per Gujarat state government spokesperson  health minister Nitin Patel said that a notification on the same will be issued next week to this effect.
