Today, sharply reacting on the cancellation of former Prime Minister Manmohansingh’s visit to Gujarat on February 27 Congress veteran Shankersinh Vaghela said that on one hand Gujarat is considered to be the safestest state. We have followed outrightly all the formalities of ex Prime Minister’s visit to Gujarat two months in advance with state authorities. There are 10 security agencies every day bringing to us new point to reject Manmohansingh’s visit.
Vaghela added on February 27 there is an online exam by TCS company which on our request they are ready to cancel the exam but to that also SPG objects that it will send wrong signals about Manmohansingh so TCS should continue with their exam as scheduled.
Vaghela blamed that Gujarat government is using SPG Special Protection Group and Gujarat Police to somehow cancel Manmohansingh’s visit. There was no political purpose of Manmohansingh’s visit.
However, SPG gives strange reasons of security to cancel Manmohansingh’s visit.
It is also that BJP national president Amit Shah will be visiting Gujarat on February 27.
