Yesterday, Patidar leader Hardik Patel had written a letter from Lajpore jail in Surat, addressing to Congress leader Shankersinh Vaghela and sought assurance on 20 % quoto to Patidars under EBC. Proposal from state government for 10 % reservation upto annual income of Rs 6 lakhs should be raised to Rs 12 lakhs, feels Hardik and considers it as a lollipop. For this purpose from jail Hardik wrote to Shankersinh.
Today while replyig to media on letter from Hardik, Congress leader Shankersinh said we will announce 20 % EBC within 100 days of formation of government in the state.
Congress should first roll out 20% EBC in all ruling states said Nitin Patel sharply reacting on Patidar issue.
