Shahrukh, Kajol memerised audience at launch of ‘Gerua’ song of Dilwale

Recently in Mumbai, Bollywood’s most romactic pair ShahRukh Khan and Kajol were back at Maratha Mandir, where performances of their superhit blockbuster film ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ DDLJ which was continously played for almost 20 years ever since its release in 1995, until February this year. SRK and Kajol launched the first song ‘Mohe Tu Rang De Gerua’ from their upcoming movie ‘Dilwale’ from Rohit Shetty production. Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon who are co-stars of Dilwale enact and Shahrukh Kajol’s famous songs.SRK and Kajol have always been loved for their onscreen appearance together and have won many Best Jodi awards. Promo of Diwale song was played twice, second time of loud request for ONCE MORE for promo and once in the end of song launch. Mohe Tu Range Gerua really memarised crowd at cinema hall. Having romanced in films like ‘Baazigar’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’, ‘Karan Arjun’ and more, they were last seen together in Karan Johar’s ‘My Name is Khan’ in the year 2010.

The cinema hall of Maratha Mandir was jam packed while a huge crowd of SRK Kajol fans gathered outside the cinema hall to catch glimpse of their heartthrob. The media people and fans were eager to see the song as well as the Dilwale team and as the countdown to the song launch began, the fans started whistling, displaying ‘D’ title orange colored banners and they made a lot of noise for their favourite actors. Diwale stars were given Red Carpet welcome at Cinema Hall. As the stars came on stage, one by one, everyone’s heart froze as they witnessed the magic in front of their eyes.

Shahrukh really appreciated love from his fans and acknowledged them in public. SRK humbly accepted love and tremendous response from his huge fans in and outside cinema hall.

Stars including Shahrukh, Kajol, Varun, Kriti, Pritam and Rohit Shetty replied media questions from dias and loved interacting with fans amid very vibrant song launch.

On a question from media to SRK, whether you have Palang Tod Chemistry, SRK said I donot what chemistry we have, but we have working comfort with each other, we have done many movies together and people have loved them and good friends.

Shooting Gerua song on broken plane site, gave different touch to the movie. Rohit Shetty well known action director in a witty manner said for the first I have no role in this broken plane, it is just a popular exotic location.

The event lasted for more than two and half hours with completely blocking roads around Bombay Center and Maratha Mandir bringing to a grinding halt.

Music Director Pritam also played two songs of Dilwale which were backed by stars and fans.

Even, crew members and sponsors of the movie were invited to the dias.

Stars waived from the balcony of Maratha Mandir and acknowledge love and response of their fans, who literally turned crazy. Ballons were flown and flower petals were showered at the cinema hall.

Entry to media and fan groups were given amid tight security considering popularity of Shahrukh, event details known to public. It was a joint event by Red Chillies Entertainment and Rohit Shetty production.
