Shahid Kapoor starrer “Farzi” is all set to go on floors this februrary 2015.Shahid will be playing a white – collar criminal role in the movie.The film is dark drama and a sattire directed by Raj and DK. The film also has Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Kriti Sanon, who was Tiger Shroff‘s leading lady in ‘Heropanti’, will play the female lead.The speculations that making the rounds were that the film has been shelved due to the poor box office performance of the director duo Raj & DK’s last film Happy Ending. But it turned out to be false news.
According to the reports, film was expected to go on floors by January beginning. As Shahid has just wrapped up Shaandaar with Alia Bhatt, the directors thought to give some time before he can begin with this film.The film was told as a remake of some other film but Raj and Dk has denied this fact in their previous interview. Shahid will be seen first time romancing with Kriti Sanon in their upcoming movie.
The duo Raj and Dk said in an interview, “It’s something that is probably our best script. It’s a solid plotline, great narrative, almost gritty but has its wicked satirical sense of humour. It’s set in a big world of crime. Shahid is a great fit. Farzi has Nawaz playing a very strong feature role. He is not a baddie just but he has a great full-fledged role opposite Shahid. There is a gamut of brilliance and of course, the film is such that it will thrive on acting alone.” We hope it brings out best for Shahid Kapoor with his first 2015 movie.
