Shah Rukh Khan, who turned 50 on November 2, began the party with his family, continued it with fans and the press, and ended it with Sabka Bhai Salman Khan. For years, the two Khans conducted a public feud that was punctuated briefly by much publicized and photographed hugs at iftaar parties and award shows. This time, there was a birthday hug.
Early morning Tuesday, SRK posted these tweets, referring to both of Salman’s next films – 2016’s wrestling movie Sultan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, coming up in two weeks:
Salman, who plays a Haryanvi wrestler in Sultan, is training in mixed martial arts and wrestling with Larnell Stovall of movies like The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Falcon Rising. Salman earlier sent SRK birthday wishes via news agency PTI, saying, “I wish him the best in life. I wish him good health, family, success and the most amazing life. I would want the whole family to be healthy. I wish that for everyone.” Shah Rukh has Dilwale releasing on December 18 and Raees and Fan queued up for 2016.
