Surprisingly senior Cricketing heroes of 2011 World seem to be left out of Indian Sqaud including Virendra Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Gautam Gambhir, Harbhajan Singh and Zaheer Khan from 30-man probables list for 2015 World Cup. MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina and R Ashwin finds place in the squad out of 2011 World Cup winning team.
On Thursday, the selectors chose to focus on youth and form of cricketer. Veteran cricketer Sunil Gavaskar supported the decision, saying: “since cricket has become faster, teams cannot afford to carry passengers.”
