Scam of Toor Dal of inferior quality in Keshod market yard at Jetpur has come to surface. Out of total 3241 bags stored in Godown of Gujarat, 1042 bags were of inferior quality were found.
After purchase of Tuver Dal at MSP Minimum Sale Price by Gujarat government and stored them into the godown.
A press conference by civil supplies minister Jayesh Radadiya had clarified on the poor quality Tuver Dal stored in the yard. Radadiya ensures proper enquiry in the case.
Keshod farmer Raymal Dalu says it is a scam with involvement of high level of officials. We are threatened to put in jail, if we expose the matter to media. Though we are not allowed to enter the godown, but in the night truck comes and mixing in toor dal takes place added the farmer.
Seven persons including Grader has booked in the case.4.5 lakh metric tonne Dal at the rate of Rs 1000 has been purchased.
