In sharp reaction to atrocities of Dalits in Una, wrath of Dalits is prevailant in Saurashtra region, in Gariadhar of Bhavnagar incident of road blocking is reported. Dalits demand for stern action against accused in the atrocities case of Una. Particularly in Saurashtra region, in Junagadh, Jamnagar, Gariadhar there are largescale protests made by Dalits.
Police has to impose strict security at the site. In Junagadh, Dalits have come down for protest shouting slongans and stopping ST buses coming in the region. Based on road blocking at Vadal area and police had to arrest a mob of 300 people to control the situation. Dalits are protesting against police even for inaction against people responsible in the incident. Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel has expressed concern saying that if police would taken action on time, the matter would not have gone to such a level.
