Recently in Mumbai, a press meet in Mehboob Studios was held to celebrate success party of Rajshri Productions Prem Ratan Dhan Payo PRDP. The press meet was enlightened with witty bite of Bollywood sensation Salman Khan supported by pretty Sonam Kapoor.
Salman and Sonam interacted with media and replied to their questions. Talking about his double role Salman said that I have made lot of improvement since double role of Judwa, there I probably didnot have much to do except showing my side parted and middle parted hair style and changing of shirts to differentiate. About movie record Salman said I will like if someone will break it, it will be good for the industry and I donot like someone breaking it will be a selfish expectation. People will always have a mixed reaction, for no reason they will like it, for no reason they will dislike it. No movie can be made with a mathematical formula. He said movies are made from heart. How easily problems are solved just by singing a song.
In a question from media Salman replied on his weight that presently, he is 88, but for next movie Sultan which is a sports based movie he will go down to 70 and then gain upto 90 again, but that is only muscle part. His fans will not have complain to see him in shirtless sequence. It will be a full compensation for his fans added Salman.
On asking about his individual choice out of double role he opted about Prem Dilwale one.
Sonam said my much appreciation is my director is satisfied with my work.
Director Sooraj Barjatya appreciated media support throughout the making of film. He said we make such films in which we believe, still people sometimes criticise that AIESA TO KABHI HOTA HAI KYA? I cannot make action film and then narating one incident when in a movie for instance lifted air gun vertically and his junior said YEH AAP KO SUIT NAHI KARTA.. so one should do such things in which he is proficient added director.He appreciated Salman working for him after a gap of 18 years.Director also said that Salman’s PRDP and Bradd Pitt and Angalina Jolie’s movie had a launch on same day and Salman’s movie making a bigger start was really a big thing for him. Quoting one incident Sooraj said during his visit to a theatre in Mumbai one muslim women cladded in a Burkha and by lifting her Burkha and told me that you have made a good movie of Salman that is the biggest award worthier than million dollars. It is a simple romantic movie based on Indian emotions.
Vijay Singh,CEO of Fox Star Studios informed of initial business that PRDP made of Rs 250 crores with worldwide grand opening in US, UK and all other places.
It appears that PRDP and Salman fans will take movie to newer heights by setting new records on box office.
