Marflix Pictures and producers Siddharth and Mamta Anand are all set to make their mark in the digital space with their Netflix release Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins! As the name suggests, this also marks the producers’ first heist genre movie, making it an eagerly awaited project. The trailer of the film that dropped in February 2025, sees Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat make a run for the ‘Red Sun’ diamond. Joining these two stars in the whole heist saga will be actors Nikita Dutta and Kunaal K Kapoor. Makers recently released a poster of Saif Ali Khan in which his sharp features were framed by a shadow of the coveted ‘Red Sun’ jewel that his character steals.
With the release of the project inching close to the due date, makers released their first song from the film. Titled Jaadu, the song features the entire cast, comprising of Saif Ali Khan, Nikita Dutta, Jaideep Ahlawat and Kunaal K Kapoor setting the pace for the heist thriller. The characters are introduced one by one, as they groove and move to a catchy tune, that will leave you humming and whistling after you’ve watched the video!

Intrigue surrounding Jewel Thief has peaked ever since the movie was announced. With filming taking place in Mumbai, Budapest and Istanbul extensively, where the team and actors shot for elaborate high-octane sequences, expectations from his and his wife Mamta Anand’s joint venture are already sky high! Another reason why Jewel Thief is a much awaited movie is because it promises the audience ‘a theatrical-like experience’ but on the OTT platform, a move that seldom projects have delivered. Produced by Siddharth and Mamta Anand’s production house Marflix Pictures and directed by Kookie Gulati and Robbie Grewal, Jewel Thief will release on Netflix on April 25. After his heist film’s release, Siddharth will soon begin shooting for his next project, aptly titled – ‘The King’, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan.
