Today Sabarkantha, in Nagdhara kund of Shamlaji people took bath and performe paternal rites. As per Hindu calender on full moon day of Kartik month Shamlaji Fair is held. People from Gujarat and Rajasthan come for Darshan at Shamlaji. On full moon day they remain vigil and next day morning take bath in Nagdhara Kund.
The Shamlaji fair is famous for the bath in the Nagdhara kund and the centuries old traditions.
