Rs 56 lakhs cash recovered by ACB from corrupt GSLDC officer on extension
ACB team has recovered Rs 56 lakhs from chamber of Class 1 officer KC Parmar of GSLDC office.
ACB Raid started yesterday at GSLDC. Based on evidence found ACB has made a cognizable complaint against 5 accused.
ACB had formed a trap under guidance of Rupal Solanki and the secret planning was going on with a team of 12 PI police inspectors. Many complaints about corruption in GSLDC were received at ACB Ahmedabad.
GSLDC Gujarat State Land Development Corporation Limited is government of Gujarat Undertaking. The GSLDC office is located at Balram Bhavan in Gandhinagar.
30% of the amount was taken as an advance for making land deals. Rs 56 lakhs cash have been recovered from GSLDC officer KC Parmar’s office. The cash amount belongs to 5 more officers of Corporation.
ACB has issued notice to officers and summoned them to ACB office to give explanation on where from they got such a big amount. Mobile phones of GSLDC officers have been taken into custody of ACB for investigation. Call details of officers will be probed. All accused will be produced in the court and remand for 7 days will be demanded by ACB. Help of CCTV footage will also be taken to get further clue in the case.
ACB team will record statement of GSLDC staff in connection with corruption by officers.
Today also investigation continued to further probe in case.
KC Parmar GSLDC officer is on extension. After exposure of corruption by Parmar, now questions are being raised as to how extension was awarded to a retired corrupt officer.
