In 10 lakh rupees NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for medical aspirants to pursue medical courses or MBBS from Abroad, NEET exam brings about the uniform admission process to the medical colleges in India) entrance exam paper leak scam, cash worth Rs 7 lakhs was found. Lead in the case found through the WhatsApp chat of Deputy Center Superintendent of NEET examination.
A big paper leak scam was exposed to extract 10 lakh rupees from aspiring students appearing in the NEET exam held at Godhra.
Entire paper leak scam was exposed based on personal information received by Ashish Kumar District Collector of Panchmahal district. Rs 7 lakhs cash was found from vehicle of Deputy Center Superintendent of Examinations in the investigation by investigation teams of District Additional Collector and District Education Officer at the center.
It was revealed from mobile phone of the Deputy Superintendent of Examinations in a WhatsApp chat that total 6 students had done copy. It was decided to take 10 lakh rupees from each student.
In the whole matter, Police complaint was filed against three persons at Godhra Taluka police station by DEO District Education Officer. Police complaint against Tushar Bhatt, teacher of Jay Jalaram School at Godhra, Parasuram Roy,owner of Vadodara based company named Roy Overseas and Arif Vora of Godhra. Police complaint registered under various sections of Prevention of fraud, Cheating and Corruption Act. SOG arrested Parasuram Roy of Vadodara.
