In Ahmedabad based Remesivir Injection Scam Case 8 accused including a partner and commission agent of Vejalpur-based pharmaceutical company were booked by Ahmedabad Crime Branch.
t was found out that crores of rupees worth of injections were imported from a person named Shabbir from Bangladesh and given to many patients and doctors in Surat at a handsome price.
Two times the consignment was imported from Bangladesh to Gujarat and sticker of new price was pasted over old price and thus the vital injections were sold in black market. Sandeep Mathukia, a resident of Vastrapur Ahmedabad was the main commission agent. Sandeep had archived injections at residence of his cousin Yash in Surat.
