After unseasonal rain in Gujarat and damage to crop, Gujarat government has announced a package of Rs 3,800 crore from SDRF State Disaster Relief Fund and state budget. 56 lakh farmers had applied to seek help from government out of which 27 lakh farmers were registered. Upto 30th December 35 to 40 lakh farmers are likely to get registered.
on 25th December, Gujarat farmers will get benefit of SDRF at 9 places in Kisan Sammelan. Relief amount will be directly credited into Farmers account.
Kisan Sammelan was cancelled in Banaskantha due to wrath of farmers over locust attack.
