Summer has already started in Gujarat with temperature crossing 40 degree Celsius.
As per Dr Jayant Sarkar, Director of Meteorological Center in Ahmedabad heatwave will continue during April 26 to 28. It is predicted that on 26th of April temperature will exceed 44 degree celsius, therefore Red Alert has been sounded in entire Gujarat including Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Rajkot, Vadodara, Surendranagar, Amreli, Kutch.
On 27th and 28th April Orange alert has been sounded.
AMC Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has made an action plan against heatwave.
People are advised not to move in hot sun, especially children, women and aged people.
Precautionary actions and symptoms to protect individual are prescribed by AMC.
