Recently a Delegation from Rashtriya Raksha University (an Institution of National Importance, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India), Gandhinagar of Gujarat participated in 10th Police Academy International Organization (INTERPA) Conference held in Antalya, Republic of Turkey from 11 to 14 November 2021.
Theme of the conference was ‘Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Police and Police Education’.
Highlight of the conference was signing of protocol for Rashtriya Raksha University to become a member of INTERPA. More than 100 participants from 40 countries participated in the conference.
Delegation included Dr. Anand Kumar Tripathi (Vice-Chancellor Incharge, RRU), Dr. Akshat Mehta (Dean-University) and Mr. Ravish Shah (Head International Cooperation and New Initiatives Division).
Objective of the University’s (Rashtriya Raksha University participation in INTERPA to promote cooperation and coordination with the members of Police Training Institutes, to make effective use of existing resources, to conduct various cooperative activities and to promote the best experiments and researches carried out in the scope.
The University is always striving to play a positive role in national and international community through police education, research and training.
