Hectic shooting schedules and deadlines take a toll on actors’ health. Something similar happened in case of Ranveer Singh who’s shooting for Bajirao Mastani at Wai, Maharashtra. Reports suggest that the actor fell ill while doing outdoor scenes and got fever. It so happened that the temperature was soaring at Wai where the cast and crew of the film were shooting. And unfortunately, in such a weather, Ranveer had to shoot some outdoor sequences. Results, the heat and the fatigue took a toll on Ranveer’s health.
About the entire scenario, a source quoted saying, “He had high fever, but continued to work, as they had to wrap up the shoot in order to complete the schedule of the film. He has been wrapping up his solo portions and patch work. Being a thorough professional, even though he was completely dehydrated, Ranveer didn’t want to take a break and disrupt the schedule. A doctor was called on the sets, and he prescribed some medication for Ranveer.”
It’s said that even the director of the film Sanjay Leela Bhansali was quite concerned about the actor’s health, and asked him to take rest. But Ranveer apparently refused and continues to shoot for the film till next week.
