Today Bollywood actor, Rajpal Yadav visits Ahmedabad for promotion his upcoming movie ‘Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain’. Rajpal in an Exclusive Talk with Gujaratheadline said I have not yet acted in a film as a mere actor, but it was done with a feeling of belonging. The movie is based on a real tradedy. Before making of movie, lot of research and study was done on the subject and the viewpoint to be given to the film. It could had three viewpoints Legal, Political or Disaster Based. Since it’s a disaster based film, I have done the movie.
After ‘Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chhahti Hun’ I was selected by having email to play the character of Dilip. People, know about the traddy but donot know about the aftermath. I started getting attention after ‘Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chhahti Hun’, ‘Main Meri Patni Aur Who’ and this Bhopal movie.
The movie has been nominated in Tokyo Film show and now getting response from US. It is called ‘Desi Titanic’. It is dedicated to Bhopal victims.
To get producer for the movie was a big challenge. Rajpal has lot of hopes from Bhopal movie and feels that its a Gateway to Hollywood.
