Today in Rajkot, two persons were held with Rs 6 lakhs cash in new currency notes of Rs 2000 from Aaji Dam area.
Incharge Police Inspector HR Kundariya of Aaji dam police station is investigating the case.
Cash was seized in 300 pieces of Rs 2000 in denominations of new currency. The notes were to be encashed at a rate of 30 % profit on its black marketing.
Income Tax authorities were informed of the case.
