Rajkot to Ahmedabad will be linked with 6 lane highway in next 2 years
Six lane highway to be built an expense of Rs 867 crores.
Also the highway will have 6 highways and 4 elevated corridors. The highway will be exempted from any toll tax to be levied from the commuters.
Ground breaking ceremony of the proposed highway was done by Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani and Gujarat Dy CM Nitin Patel.
Gujarat government assured completion of the highway within next 2 years.
The highway will resolve issue over 44 kms stretch from Ujjala of Sanand to Chiloda of Gandhinagar,
