In Rajkot city, patients are facing difficulties in absence of resident doctors they are refrained from medical facility from the hospital, as resident doctors are on strike.
It is learnt that there was a tussle between relative of patient and resident doctors of Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay College of Rajkot. It is said that relative of patient had slapped a doctor. The issue was ignitied and took a form of strike. Today strike of Rajkot doctors enters into third day.
Resident doctors raises demand for their security over such attacks by patient’s relatives. There is a scarcity of doctors in Rajkot Civil Hospital, senior doctors are busy with their private practice. Therefore, resident doctors are pressing authorities over their security.
