Rajkot: health authorities of RMC raided at mango vendor on Ashapura road

Today in Rajkot, health authorities of RMC Rajkot Municipal Corporation raided at Shree Ram Mango Mart, mango vendor on Ashapura road. RMC team destroyed 580 kilogram of mangoes which were being artificially ripened using Calcium Carbide powder. Calcium Carbide is a banned compound.

Carbide is skillfully packed into small sachets and scattered into the piles of mangoes at the market by vendors.
