Rajkot Collector ordered to withdraw case against Hardik Patel
Today in connection with insulting Indian flag during India versus South Africa cricket match in Rajkot, Patidar leader Hardik Patel was charged with sedition charges.
Of late it was learnt that, Rajkot collector has ordered to withdraw case against Hardik Patel.
Gujarat government meets Hardik Patel; Hardik says meeting unconclusive
Today afternoon in Gandhinagar, a meeting between Gujarat government and Patidar leaders on demand for quota in the state.
Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel, minister Nanubhai Vanani and Chiman Sapariya led the meeting on behalf of Gujarat government.
From Patidars side, Hardik Patel, Lalji Patel of SPG Sardar Patel Group, Reshma Patel, Dinesh Bambhaniya and other PAAS Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti attended the meeting.
The meeting lasted for more than 2 hours.
Gujarat Dy CM made announcement of forming a commission for unreserved people will be made. The proposal will be submitted in a cabinet meeting to be held tomorrow.
Patidars shouted slogans.
After the meeting Hardik Patel said that the meeting with Gujarat government was a welcoming move but it was inconclusive.
Hardik added that Government should first withdraw all cases against Patidars and provide jobs to Patidars victimised in the agitation.
Government should call special assembly session and pass resolution to this effect else whatever assurances are given will stand null and void.
Hardik Patel’s Somnath Yatra started from Ahmedabad
Today from 14th September, PAAS Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti has announced to launch a 3 day long Somnath Yatra starting from Ahmedabad commencing on 14th September till 16th September.
The yatra is led by Hardik Patel and other PAAS conveners in Gujarat demanding quota for Patidars.
In an overwhelming response, Hundreds of Thousands of Patidars joined the yatra to Somnath. They carried Indian flags and banners with caption of Patidar Anamat Andolan.
The yatra gets tremendous support from Morbi.
Hardik in his official tweeter says that he is ready to be in jail and would not be taken aback.
He added that people’s amazing response shows their faith in me.

In Gujarat, PAAS Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti has announced to launch a 3 day long Somnath Yatra starting from Ahmedabad commencing on 14th September till 16th September.
