In hot summer in Ahmedabad city civic authority of AMC Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has worked out heatwave action plan.
As per weather agency forecast, Red Alert has been sounded for next couple of days, temperature is likely to go beyound 45 degree celsius.
In this situation, public gardens will remain open until 11 pm, butter milk will be served at general hospitals, rrangements of water is made at all hospitals, Estate Department will make sure that construction workers keep away from work during 12 to 4 pm and report for work at 4:30 pm. All health centres run by AMC will remain open on Sundays.
