Today after instructions to IG Range Junagadh from Gujarat Home Minister Pradipsinh Jadeja to suspend concerned police staff induldged in attack on media at Swaminarayan temple.
Even in Ahmedabad, the incident had wide spread echo and Gujarat Journalists Association gave memorandum to Ahmedabad Police Commissioner AK Singh and Ahmedabad Collector Vikrant Pandey.
Yesterday in Jungadh Swaminaryan temple election at Radha Raman board was held. There were two groups of Dev Paksh and Sadhya Paksh.
Many Devotees had come to give their votes at the temple.
Some conflict took place between members of Dev Paksh and Sadhya Paksh.
Police present at the site, started lathicharge on cameraman covering the episode live. Video of police beating media has gone viral.
