Technosavvy Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently visited Bhabha Atomic Research Centre BARC, Trombay, Mumbai and met BARC scientists. Modi’s had a visit to the Dhruva reactor and discusssions with scientists from Atomic Energy Department and BARC.Narendra Modi was received by Maharashtra Governor K Sankaranarayanan and Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan as per government protocol. Also pesent on at BARC site were Devendra Fadnavis,Senior BJP leaders of Maharashtra unit and Vinod Tawde leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council . They were among people to receive Modi at airport.
Modi’s BARC event was open to media. It was Modi’s first visit to Mumbai after becoming the Prime Minister. Modi is likely to address a meeting of key office bearers of the state and city BJP units.
