Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend Narmada Yatra on September 17
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend Narmada Yatra in Gujarat.
Today the Yatra starts from Surendranagar with a flag off by Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani at 10:00 am. 24 Raths after going across 7 cities and 24 districts end on 17th September on birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Dabhoi at Kevadiya Colony.
With permission on 17th June by Narmada Control Authority to install 30 gates of dam at Sardar Saroar dam which will attain a height of 13865 meters. It will benefit more than 4 crore people in 7200 villages with water of Narmada. Gujarat farmers will be able to get benefit of Narmada waters.
