Today, President Pranab Mukherjee sends greetings to teachers on the occasion of Teachers’ Day, saying that they must be friends, philosophers and guiding spirit to their students. While signifying respect for teachers in his message, Mukherjee said teachers are like candles, who burn brightly to enlighten others.
