President Kovind address pledge on Constitution Day celebration in Kevadia

Today on second day of 80th AIPOC All India Conference of Presiding Officers all dignitaries started celebrating Constitution Day. Officials representing various state legislatures and Legislative Councils gathered at Statue of Unity and read out the preamble of the Constitution in front of the world’s tallest statue, the Statue of Unity, with the great personality of Sardar Patel, the sculptor of the nation’s unity and integrity. The program was led by President of India Ramnath Kovind from Delhi. He read the prologue and help dignitaries take pledge.

For temple of democracy the chairpersons and vice-chairpersons of Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha and State Legislative Assemblies, were present at the Statue of Unity today morning. Where everyone offered wreaths to the statue of Sardar Patel. Later all the dignitaries gathered in the premises of the statue with the observance of social distance.
President Kovind joined from Rashtrapati Bhavan through video conferencing and he read out the preamble of the Constitution.
