Today, President Pranab Mukherjee delivered his speech at Central Hall of Parliament.
While addressing both the house, President said NDA led government at Centre will try to heal the fractured and contentious politics of the previous years and will work for development in a resurgent India in which corruption will have no place. He briefly highlighted new government’s economic agenda, with an emphasis on rural development, attracting foreign investments and brining India back to the path of economic growth.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi stressed on the key issues that the government needs to focus on including skill, scale and speed. “The need of the hour is to think big. The more we focus on skill, scale and speed, more will be the increase in India’s growth trajectory”.
“They (people of India) have voted for a united, strong and modern India -‘Ek Bharat-Shreshta Bharat’.
