Today Pre-Vibrant Exporters Conference – ‘ExportEXCELeratE’ was organized in Ahmedabad. Addressing the conference Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said that the conference is the right job at time. The 10th Vibrant Summit is going to be organized from 10th to 12th January 2024 with the theme of GateWay to the Future. The Pre-Vibrant Conference will prove to be an important link to accelerate exports. This time’s Vibrant Summit will be useful in realizing the resolve of a developed India under leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He had said that along with the development revolution, export revolution will also be crucial in achieving PM’s goal of Developed India by 2047. In this context, he further said that, due to continuous success of the Vibrant Summit started by PM Narendra Modi in 2003 and tremendous response received from global investors for two decades, today the Vibrant Gujarat Summit has become a global platform of knowledge sharing for investors, industrialists and thought leaders from all over the world.
On the occasion, CM Bhupendra Patel while talking about Vocal for Local said that today India has become self-reliant in many fields under the leadership of Prime Minister. India, which was once a major importer, has now become a country exporting many goods, products and services. Today Gujarat is exporting only final products instead of raw materials. Along with this, Prime Minister has given the slogan of ‘Vocal for Local’ to India and has now blazed a new trail of ‘Local Goes Global’, he added.
Talking about digital technology, CM Patel said that at present, with advent of digital technology, a person can sell his products anywhere in the world. Due to digital trade, exports have now become easier, faster and reliable. Along with this, digital technology has opened new directions in the export sector. On this occasion talking about this, CM said that, MSME To enable units to export their products, the state government has provided assistance of Rs 43 crores under the Market Development Assistance Scheme.
In two decades, number of MSMEs in the state has increased from 3 lakh to 8.66 lakhs. Thus, under the leadership of PM, Gujarat has made a huge progress in both production and export sectors in the last 20 years, he added.
Due to the pro-active governance and investor friendly approach of the state government along with strong infrastructure, seamless connectivity, ease of logistics and export ecosystem, Gujarat has emerged as export hub of India. In the year 2002, 1200 lakh metric tons of cargo was transported through our ports, today it has increased to 5400 lakh metric tons, informed Chief Minister Patel. Talking about the visionary leadership of Prime Minister, CM Patel said that India has increased its reputation in the world through G-20, business and investment friendly system, world’s largest market and huge youth talent pool. Not only this, under the leadership of PM Modi, India is now moving towards new dreams and a new direction. He further said that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister, India has become the fifth largest economy in the world. Now India’s aim is to become the third largest economy in the world. Along with this, the Prime Minister has also set the target of making India a five trillion dollar economy, CM also expressed confidence that the Gujarat Vibrant Summit will also prove to be an important link in achieving this.
On today’s occasion, Industries Minister BalwantSinh Rajput said that 20 years ago, due to the vision of then Chief Minister and present Prime Minister Narendra Modi, today Gujarat has become the export hub India. He said that under guidance of CM Bhupendra Patel, Gujarat will become an export hub at the world level in the future. BalwantSinh added that, due to the visionary leadership of Narendra Modi, Gujarat’s exports have increased 24 times in 2 decades. At the core of which is the guidance of Prime Minister and determination of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.
