PM Narendra Modi’s visit to Ahmedabad turns the city into high security zone

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Ahmedabad has turned the city into a high security zone, with police persons at every corner, with high security arrangements, lighting decoration, founations. Authroities have been on run for past many days, to uplift the face of Ahmedabad in receiving our Prime Minister and another VVIP Chinese President Xi Jingping along with diplomats and delegates for bilateral deals and meetings.

Traffic at many places in the city have been city have been rerouted and No Parking Zones have been declared.

Ahmedabad Airport to Vastrapur will have tight Police security with human chain of Police staff at all junction/crossing. 16 Monitoring Control Rooms have been set up for surveillance.

Ahmedababad city’s 13 important routes have been converted into ‘No Parking routes’. No Parking from Ahmedabad Airport to Indira Bridge.

1. Shahibaug Under Bridge Circle to Shubhash Bridge Circle
2. Subhash bridge Circle to Gandhi Ashram, Vadaj Circle to Usmapura Cross Road
3. Usmanpur Cross road to Sardar Patel via Darpan Cross road till Vijay Cross Road
4. From Vijay Cross Road via Saurabh Cross Road till Helmet Cross Road
5. Helmet Cross Road till Blindmen’s Association,Vastrapur
6. Blinmen’s Association,GMDC Ground till Alpha One Mall, Kalyan Pushti,Sanjivani Hospital,Hinashu Vidyalaya till Hotel Hyatt
7. Vashnodevi Circle till Sola Bhagwat upto Thaltej (SG Highway)
8. Thaltej Circle , Saibaba Cross Road upto NFDC Circle
9. NFDC circle till Sanjivani Hospital
10. Tapovan Circle to Visat T Road
11. Viast T to Power House, Chimanbhai  flyover, via Prabodh Raval Circle till Subhash Circle
12. Shahibaug underpass T to Ghevar Circle till Raksha Shakti via Vithalnagar Cross Road upto Civil Hospital
13. Blindmen’s Association to Helmet overbridge upto AEC overbridge till Pragatinagar, Akhbarnagar, Vyaswadi, Ranip T upto Prabdh Circle

Vastrapur Lake , River Front and Subhash Bridge blocked for common access.

People coming from Gandhinagar will be redirected. Vehicles coming from  Indira Bridge will be redirected to Chiloda and Sarkhej bound vehicles will be allowed to Vavol via Shertha.
