Today at 5:30 am, Narendra Modi, 63, Prime Minister of India visited All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for the first routine heart and eye check-up leaving hundreds of patients and their attendants queuing up as his security enforced an unprecedented cordening. Due to Prime Minister visit as a patient to AIIMS Delhi Police had to cordoned off a major section of country’s premier government hospital. Ansari Nagar and all shops were shut down including chemists. AIIMS hospital looked abandoned. Only the chemist store inside was kept open.
