Today Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi launched Social Upliftment and Employment Based Janakalyan (PM SURAJ) portal virtually across India. On the occasion, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel along with dignitaries including State Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Bhanu Babariya participated from Ahmedabad.
On the occasion of launch of portal prepared with an aim of bringing socially and economically backward classes into mainstream and benefiting them through various government schemes, Chief Minister Patel said It was said that under able leadership of PM Narendra Modi, more than 25 crore people have been lifted from poverty and brought to mainstream of development in last 10 years. The Prime Minister started Bharat Sankalp Yatra to help needy people living in remote villages and get benefit of government’s welfare scheme.
