Prime Minister Narendra Modi today extended best wishes to his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif for his open-heart surgey to be held in UK next Tuesday.

Sharif will undergo an open-heart surgery on Tuesday, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif had said yesterday. Asif, also a confidante of 66-year-old Sharif, had said doctors have advised the prime minister to undergo an open-heart surgery, following which he will be staying in the hospital for a week.
“The prime minister will travel after one wModi extends best wishes to Sharif for his heart surgeryeek, on doctor’s permission,” he added. Sharif’s daughter, Maryam Nawaz had confirmed on twitter that her father will undergo an open-heart surgery on Tuesday.
