Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi had a meets and attends the Indian community reception. The phenomenal enthusiasm of the Indian community here made me very glad said PM Modi during recent ASEAN India summit.
Referring to India’s ties with Myanmar, the prime minister said the two countries are “linked” historically as both had struggled for independence together.
He also referred to economic opportunities in India and said the country has the largest number of young talent in the world which is a great asset.
Prime Minister Modi proposed SAARC-specific benefits like polio eradication and dedicated regional satellite to Myanmar.
