Today in Gandhinagar, PAAS Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti leaders had a meeting with Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel over reservation to Patidars in the state. After 1st December this was a second round of meeting.
PAAS leaders provided substantiating documents in terms of court verdict with states exceeding 49 % reservation. Court verdict from Rajasthan , Maharashtra, West Bengal and Jharkhand states were produced to Patel.
Both the parties felt that today’s meeting was constructive. Government will check legal aspect. Therefore, next meeting will be held in next week.
Patel said that SPG Sardar Patel Group is also important entity, therefor we will talk to them and take them into confidence.
