Today and Tomorrow,with growing demand for reservation in Other Backward Castes (OBC) quota, takes out rallies in different parts of Gujarat. 3 rallies with 20,000 people were held in Gandhinagar, Sabarkantha and Amreli districts on Monday and the 4th in Vadodara district on Tuesday. Hardik Patel, member of Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti said. “The other 2 rallies will be held in Himmatnagar town of Sabarkantha district and in Bagasara town of Amreli district Monday, where around 50,000 and 10,000 people will take part in both the districts, respectively,” added Patel.
Patidar community members have given a memorandum of their demands to the 3 district collectors , he added.
Rally at Gandhinagar will begin from ‘Gh-0’ sector and will end at Chhavni area, he said.
