Paresh Dhanani Opposition leader slams Gujarat Government over CAG Report. Today on last day CAG Report was tabled in the Gujarat Assembly by the government.Dhanani attacked BJP government over presenting CAG Report in Budget Session on last day.
Anomaly found in CAG Report was non collection of Rs 38.98 crores from 8 user agencies.
By government In year 2016-17, revenue of Rs 1,09,841 crores generated. Rs 64,442 crores revenue generated from tax collection. 13 PSUs Public Sector Units have been affected is evident from CAG Report. Additional expense of Rs 2.36 crores on Jilla Seva Sadan Construction has been revealed in the report. Rs 4.11 crores non-productive expense on Visavadar Dhari Railway Bridge.
CAG has made serious observations over preservation of Lions in Gujarat.
There is an atmosphere full of fear and corruption. People of Gujarat are being made poor.
Congress has tried to make representation in Gujarat Assembly in a democratic manner. Government has failed to resolve issues of people. We will try to do justice to people of Gujarat.
