Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has indicated that permission of parents/guardians in love marriages will become mandatory in the statement given at the program of Patidar Samaj in Mehsana. In which approval has been assured, will be discussed and considered. Parents/guardians permission to become mandatory in love marriages registration in Gujarat. CM Patel hinted at Patidar Get Togather Program organized by SPG of Mehsana district. In which CM has assured to study the matter of obtaining parental consent in case of love marriages. State government will delibrate to make a specific arrangement regarding love marriage in the way according to the constitution. CM Bhupendra Patel made a big statement in Mehsana on the issue of love marriage without parents’ permission. In Gujarat, there have been indications that parental consent may be required in love marriages. They have said that the government is thinking of making arrangements so that the parents agree to love marriage. There is high demand to change laws at the time of registration of love marriage. After Chief Minister’s indication, the demand to change the laws at the time of registration of love marriage is becoming high.
Former Gujarat deputy chief minister Nitin Patel has supported parental approval at the time of marriage registration. He said that consideration of family approval in registration of love marriages is a welcome step. The statement made by CM is getting.

My support will be there if the bill is introduced in state Assembly House said Khedawala. Government should bring bill in Assembly. There is an Urgent Need of the hour.
