Pakistani fishing vessel after being intercepeted by Indian Coast Guard near Porbander coast in Gujarat. Coast Guard averted possible terror attack bid when it intercepted a suspicious Pakistani boat after a chase for an hours at 365 kms near Porbandar coast. Suspicious attempt was made during night of December 31 and January 1.Vessel was carrying explosives. Four crew members were spotted on board the vessel who put on fire after being chased. The boat ultimately sank following an explosion. The Coast Guard has deployed three to four ships and several helicopters in the area to ensure none of the suspected crew members managed to flee.
Gujarat Home Minister Rajni Patel has stated that Pakistan is constantly indulging in such things, Central Govt is keeping a watch on it.
