Today Patidar Anamant Aandolan Samiti (PAAS) has give a bandh call in Gujarat tomorrow to protest against the arrest of Sardar Patel Group leader Lalji Patel and other agitators during a Jail Bharo campaign of the outfit demanding release of the jailed PAAS leader Hardik Patel and others and withdrawal of all cases against Patidars related to the Patidar reservation.
Meanwhile, Police has sounded alert in various area of Ahmedabad, Surat and other cities of the state in as a precautionary measure. Heath minister Nitin Patel appealed the people to maintain peace and order.
In-charge DGP of the state PP Pandey said that police was forced to baton charge to maintain law and order.
Gujarat BJP President Vijay Rupani said disturbances in Mehsana was very unfortunate.
