Ahmedabad Heat Action Plan-2023 has been implemented by AMC Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation in collaboration with Indian Institute of Public Health, Gandhinagar, Natural Resource Defense Council, USA and IMD Ahmedabad, according to which likely temperature will be in the city in next five days by IMD Ahmedabad has been shown. Temperature Estimates are sent to AMC. According to the information received on 09.05.23, the temperature for the next 5 days is likely to be as follows.

In Ahmedabad City Due to rising temperature in 5 days, AMC has appealed Citizens to take following precautions to avoid excessive heat.
Consuming large amount of water, buttermilk or other liquids,
• Avoid long exposure to sun, wear light colored cotton clothes,
• Rest from time to time in cool places, take special care of small children – old people and pregnant women. Following are the symptoms of Sun stroke due to excessive heat.
• Hot flushes, • Profuse sweating and feeling weak • Headache, dizziness • Skin red – dry and hot, • Muscle aches and weakness ♦ Nausea and vomiting If the above symptoms appear, consult a doctor immediately.
