During One Day long Assembly session of Gujarat Legislative Assembly , a bill will be brought on Impact Fee ordinance expiring. Before Gujarat Assembly elections 2022, state government brought an ordinance imposing Impact Fee to legalize unauthorized constructions.
After assembly election in Gujarat, new government /cabinet has been formed and after formation of the cabinet and swearing-in ceremonyof chief minister and cabinet ministers, a special meeting will be held today for preparations for holding assembly session. Chief Whip Balakrishna Shukla and Deputy chief whip Kaushik Vekaria reached Swarnim Complex to attend the meeting. This meeting has been organized with Parliamentary Affairs Minister Rushikesh Patel.
One-day Assembly Session will be held on December 20
A one-day session will be held with newly elected MLAs in Gujarat will be held on December 20. Earlier, newly elected MLAs will also take oath on December 19. Thereafter, in a one-day session on December 20, new Assembly Speaker and Deputy Assembly Speaker will complete formal process of being elected as Speaker and Deputy Speaker of Gujarat Legislative Assembly by filling up election forms.
Also, during this session, bill will be brought as Impact Fee ordinance expires. Before the elections, the government brought in an ordinance imposing Impact Fee to legalize unauthorized constructions.
