On 77th Independence Day GPCC president Shaktisinh Gohil recalls contribution of Congress in building nation

Today in Ahmedabad to celebrate 77th Independence Day by GPCC Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee at Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan, Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee President Shaktisinh Gohil unfurled Indian flag while Addressing on the occasion of Independence Day, President of Gujarat Congress and MP Shaktisinh Gohil said that I would like to extend best wishes to all the countrymen on the occasion of National Independence Day.

Under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi, under the leadership of Congress Party. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Subhash Chandra Bose, today we are enjoying freedom because of the sacrifice and dedication of many famous anonymous freedom fighters including Babasaheb Ambedkar, Maulana Abul Kalam.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was the State President of Gujarat State Congress Committee for 25 years, it is a matter of pride for all of us.When even niddle was not made in India, today satellites, airplanes, industries are being made in the country. Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, had given respect to the tricolor to make the country self-reliant by establishing Navratnas in India. Slogans of ‘Jay Javan Jay Kisan’ were given, Lal Bahadur Shastri honored the tricolor by winning the first war against Pakistan. Shrimati Indira Gandhi raised the name of the tricolor in the world by dividing Pakistan into two parts and by doing the first atomic blast in Pokhran. Taking India into the 21st century and IT Industry by bringing technological revolution, by giving the Right to Vote at the age of 18 years, Rajiv Gandhi had given respect to the tricolor. By initiating economic liberalisation, PV Narasimhrao had given respect to the tricolor by establishing the flag of India in the world. During UPA rule, party President Mrs. Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Mr. Manmohan Singh was considered as a decade of Rights. In the meanwhile, Tiranga was honored by dedicating many Rights to the people of the country, including Right to Information RTI (Right to Mahiti), Right to Education RTE (Right to Education), Right to Food (Right to food), Right to Forest (Right to forest land), MNREGA (Right to employment) etc.
